Meet Dr. Eduardo José Otero Loperena
Dr. Eduardo José Otero Loperena, MD is an Interventional Pain Medicine specialist. He is boardcertified in physical medicine and rehabilitation. He is an expert in the spine and musculoskeletal orthobiologic therapies and minimally invasive spine solutions with a focus on providing cutting edge treatments for both active athletic patients and individuals with chronic pain syndromes.
Dr. Otero completed his bachelor’s degree in General Sciences at the University of Puerto Rico Rio Piedras Campus and his doctorate in Medicine at The University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences Campus. Then he continued his medical specialty education with an Internal Medicine Internship and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency at the San Juan Veterans Affairs Hospital, where he graduated with Honors and received the Award of Academic Excellence.
Dr. Otero is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Medicine, The Orthobiological Institute, Interventional Orthobiological Foundation, American Association of Interventional Pain Physicians, and American Society of Regenerative Medicine
